Integration with WooCommerce will be great feature.
Many people go for Sensie from woothemes for its out of the box support for woocommerce.

I, too, want to offer my courses for sale. However, instead of spending your time developing a shopping cart, find one already in the marketplace and then offer an integration to it. This way, your developers can spend their time on making LearnDash great as an LMS and use the talents of the shopping cart developers to create a great shopping cart. I'd recommend eStore by Tips and Tricks. The plugin is awesome! and developed specifically to sell digital products. They also have a companion affiliate program plugin as well, so you can recruit others to promote your course. Both plugins together are only $99, making them affordable for everyone (I'm an affiliate, but I recommend them because they are great, not because I make a ton of money -- and didn't include an affiliate link here anyway).

Like this idea a lot as well, we are researching the best ways to implement this feature.

And make it easy to have the user submit a token, or coupon, as one of the forms of payment.

Shopping cart feature would be awesome especially if you're a small business or sole operator.
