  1. Course or Learning Gamification system.

    Student should be awarded with badges, points, stars, virtual gifts etc. based on his/her various activities. Leader boards display. Lets make learning fun!!

  2. Require students to complete current unit before moving on or pass a quiz with a certain score before moving on

    There needs to be "blocking" functionality where students must pass a specific quiz before moving to the next section.

  3. Add social networking such as integrating with Buddypress

    Whatever theme framework you use, make it Buddypress compatible. Already using it in our own Wordpress e-Learning site and it is working great.

  4. Make the grading portion of learndash more robust

    Provide the ability to interact with students, not just have them do an automated quiz. For example, assign a task such as writing a paper, and then have the ability for the student to upload the paper, and have it be graded by a live teacher, then have the teacher be able to post the grade for that assignment.

  5. Answer type

    We need another answer type in advanced quiz. So far youve developed 7 type: Single choice Multiple choice "Free" choice "Sorting" choice "Matrix Sorting" choice Cloze Assessment. The one thing is missing in our humble opinion - it is the ability to have such a answer type that do the following: a) is a simple mulitiline text field that user can fullfill with his own remarks or own opinion regarding given question (similiar to his own notes) b) those answers shouldnt be treated either as wright or wrong. c) It should be optional for the tutor or teacher…

  6. Absolutely need the power to reset a lesson or quiz for a student.

    When I go into a lesson with a document attachment, I can see the documents the students have sent me. It would be nice to enter other lessons and see a list of students who have completed it.

    I would also like to easily reset student progress on any given lesson that would unmark the lesson complete on the my end and the student's end.

  7. Add a course progress bar

    so the student can see a visual representation of how mush of the course is complete ( see wordpress progress bar widget)

  8. Ability to set custom permalinks for courses area, quizzes, etc.

    This is necessary for SEO and conflicts with existing education themes.

  9. badges (unlock badges after completing quizzes and assignments)

    I think it would be great to have a badge system similar to the one they have at http://teamtreehouse.com/ (unlock badges).

  10. Generate a random and unique certificate number

    Would like the option when the certificate is generated that it has a unique identifying alphanumeric combination.

  11. Implement the Tin Can API... the next version of SCORM http://scorm.com/tincan/

    SCORM 1.2 and 2004 would still be necessary for existing content, but moving forward, you'd need to implement the next version of SCORM in order to stay relevant.

    Blackboard offers 17 different question types, most of which are marked automatically, with grades added to the grade book.

  13. make woocommerce integration for variable products too

    Now the LearnDash WooCommerce Integration adds a field to the Course product type, so you can associate the product to the course.
    But if you need to offer one course for different credits, you need the variable product type. So there is no way to associate the product to the course using a variable product type.

  14. Bulk upload new course/topic/lessons

    Allow me to upload a CSV with columns specifying Course, Lesson, or Topic; parent items; item name; item description.

    This will greatly speed up building large courses.

    The ability to have exercises such as quizzes that can be randomized and put in batches and levels so that each student is presented with the amount and level of exercises based on the previous performance

  18. If answer is wrong - I would like to be able to provide a custom response

    When a student gets a wrong answer I would like to be able to provide them a custom response. For example:

    QUESTION:
    With regard to the clinical history in a patient you suspect has injured their ACL, which of the following answers is the most correct?

    ANSWER 1 – A ‘pop’ or ‘snap’ sensation
    Incorrect.
    MESSAGE: All of these symptoms are consistent with the diagnosis of an ACL injury. A popping or snapping sensation is described by more than 50% or patients presenting following after an injury to their ACL.

  20. Create learner notifications

    Learner / student notifications, upon:

    -new course allocated to student
    -course is approaching expiry (in X days)
    -course has expired
    -course is overdue (by X days)
    -no movement/progress on course (for X period of time)
    -course completion

    …and then the ability to have this:
    -pushed automatically (as criteria is met)
    -pushed manually to user(s) and group(s)
